Counseling Services

OSS offers counselling to all students. If you are feeling anxious, confused, depressed or just need some advice or guidance, please see Mrs. Quintal in the counselling bubble.
 
Counselling Services available to OSS students:
 
1. Our Desert Sun Clinical Counselor is available at OSS Tu/W/Th in the counselling bubble.

2. B.C.’s Integrated Child & Youth Teams (ICY) 
The Integrated Child and Youth teams are part of B.C.'s strategy for mental health and substance use care. The ICY teams bring services together in a multidisciplinary team setting. The teams make it easier for children and youth to connect to the care they need, where and when they need it – at school and in the community.
 
3. Child Youth and Mental Health (CYMH) The referral process and initial intake call is done over the phone or in person at the Oliver office  250-485-6001
 
4. Foundry Penticton offers young people aged 12-24 access to mental health and substance use support, physical and sexual healthcare, peer support and social services.
